Backyard Camping
So Neguissie was off yesterday and decided that he would clean out the house (basement and garage) aka spring cleaning. He found our rent and suggested we put it up in the backyard and sleep in it. I actually didn’t think he was serious but he was. So we put it up and I had recently bought an inflatable mattress on Black Friday which was great so we put that in and we slept outside. That is, Eliakim, Elkanah, Ori and I. Neguissie had the house to himself! I was afraid that it might be really cold at night and prepared the kids by dressing them in layers and having lots of blankets but to my surprise it was actually not that bad at all. There was no wind! But the mattress did deflate quite a bit and it was not the most comfortable as Eliakim and Elkanah were all over the place when they slept...BUT the experience was well worth it and they both loved being outdoors all day and all night!
